Letter of Invitation

Upon request, PIANC UK will provide a letter of invitation to participate in the Congress. Such an invitation is provided solely to assist delegates to obtain travel funds, travel permits or visas as necessary and does not imply any commitment on the part of PIANC UK to provide financial support. Please email info@piancmmx.org.uk to request a letter.

Eric Loewy Fund offer to support Liverpool Congress delegates

The  Eric Loewy Memorial Fund managed by the PIANC UK Section - was established to enable PIANC members , and particularly Young Professionals  from developing countries, to participate in PIANC international activities.  The Fund is therefore able to support Qualifying Delegates who wish to attend the PIANC MMX Congress in Liverpool, UK in May 2010.  It is not a large Fund, and financial support is usually limited to pay for part of the costs of attending, such as travel or hotel costs, but all applications for sponsorship are considered according to individual circumstances: and there are no fixed rules or limits.
Therefore, the PIANC UK Section will be pleased to consider requests for financial support to attend the Liverpool Congress.  Applicants should send an e-mail with the title ‘PIANC Eric Loewy Fund’ to kate.richmond@ice.org.uk  with the following information:

•  Name, organisation, professional position and a short CV;

•  Reason for wishing to attend the Congress;

• Purpose and cost of sponsorship requested.

• Confirmation that financial support is also available from other sources to cover remaining costs of attending

PIANC Country Sections or member Companies or Organisations may also send sponsorship requests for nominated members. Requests for sponsorship by the Eric Loewy Fund will be considered as received, so the earliest possible application is advised.
